Report on the Activities of Engler-Bunte-Institut, University Karlsruhe, in 2009.

Abstract

This report wants to give an overview about actual developments and activities at the Engler-Bunte-Institute, its Research Centers as well as the Water Technology Center (TZW) which developed from the Engler-Bunte-Institute. As usual, the gas related parts can be found in GWF-Gas/Erdgas and the water related parts in GWF-Wasser/Abwasser. The report is focused on the development of the Universität Karlsruhe and academic teaching, courses and advanced education, on scientific research and development projects, on consulting and contacts to business companies as well as on other activities of the DVGWResearch Center, the Research Center of Fire Protection Technology and the Water Technology Center (TZW). The report is also focused on the development of the Karlsuhe Institute of Technology, which evolved from the fusion of the University of Karlsruhe and the Research Center of Karlsruhe.
