Automated model transformation of hydrodynamic urban drainage models into simplified hydrologic models

Detailed (hydrodynamic) sewer network models are computationally time-consuming, especially for complex networks. This article describes
an automated procedure that generates an immediately executable fast simplified (hydrological) sewer network model from a hydrodynamic
sewer network model. The fact that, within the Simba# simulator, hydrodynamic and hydrological modelling approaches can be combined
in one model opens up new possibilities and applications for model simplification, taking into account important hydrodynamic
aspects
(e.g. digital twin).
