Abstract

Simulationen sind bereits ein wichtiger Bestandteil im Engineering von Automatisierungssystemen. Zunehmend aufkommende Anwendungsfälle, wie beispielsweise höherwertige Optimierungen oder neue Dienstleistungen in Kombination mit prädiktiven Logiken, erfordern Simulationen als Teil der betriebenen Maschine oder Anlage. Aktuelle Simulationsanwendungen nutzen zentrale Simulationsarchitekturen oder integrieren Simulationsarbeitsplätze. Dieser Beitrag schlägt ein Konzept sowie eine prototypische Implementierung für die dezentrale Simulation von physikalischen Systemen oder Prozessen im Feld vor. Simulationsmodelle werden auf Einplatinenrechnern (engl. Single-board computer, SBC) ausgeführt, die einen neuen Teil der Maschinenautomationssysteme bilden. Zur Bewertung des Konzepts werden die Ergebnisse von state-of-the-art Simulations-Benchmarks aufgezeigt. Ziel ist die Validierung der Einsatztauglichkeit von SBCs für maschineninterne Echtzeitsimulationen.
