Abstract

Im folgenden Artikel wird eine Erweiterung von IO-Link Wireless mit einer zus¨atzlichen funktional-sicheren und (cyber-)sicheren Kommunikationsschicht nach dem Black-Channel-Prinzip gem¨aß IEC 61784-3:2021 beschrieben. Ein erweitertes Kanalmodell, das auf gleichm¨aßig verteilten Segmenten (UDS) ¨uberlagert mit dem bin¨ar symmetrischen Kanal (BSC) basiert, wird angewendet, um die Berechnung der Restfehlerwahrscheinlichkeit zu vereinfachen, zus¨atzliche Fehlermuster zu erkennen und BSC-erhaltende kryptografische Algorithmen anwenden zu k¨onnen. Zudem wird die drahtlose funktional-sichere Kommunikation hinsichtlich ihrer Restfehlerwahrscheinlichkeit (REP) und Ausfallwahrscheinlichkeit pro Stunde
(PFH) quantifiziert.

Henry Beuster (born 1989) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Helmut-Schmidt-University, University of Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, Germany in 2012 and 2013.
Since 2021 he is a research assistant at the Institute of Electrical Measurement Engineering, Helmut-Schmidt-University, University of Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, Germany. His research interests include real-time industrial communication protocols with a focus on interoperability and functional safety.

Gerd Scholl, Helmut-Schmidt-Universität / Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg

Gerd Scholl (born 1963) received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in 1989 and the Dr.-Ing. degree in 1996, both in Electrical Engineering, from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. From 1991 to 2000, he was with the Surface Acoustic Wave Technology and Wireless Sensors Group of the Siemens Corporate Research and Technology Center, Munich, and from 2001 to 2003, he was with the R\&D department of the Surface Acoustic Wave Division of EPCOS AG.

Since 2004, he holds the Chair for Electrical Measurement Engineering at the Helmut-Schmidt-University, University of Federal Armed Forces Hamburg, Germany. His current research interests are industrial sensor and communication systems and highly-automated unmanned aerial systems.

Walter Schlögl, TüV Süd Rail GmbH

Walter Schlögl (born 1963) received the Dipl.-Math. degree in 1989 from the Technical
University of Munich, Germany. Between 1990 and 2013 he worked for different
companies (Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG, Viag Interkom (now
O2), IZB-Soft, Siemens AG, Siemens Networks GmbH & Co. KG, Nokia Siemens
Networks GmbH Co. KG). Focus on his activities were Software Design, Engineering,
Development, Network Design, Installation, Management and IT Security.
Since 2013 he is working for TüV Süd; Until 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer,
Consultant, since 2015 as an auditor for Functional Safety and Industrial (Cyber-)
Security.

Peerasan Supavatanakul, TüV Süd Japan

Peerasan Supavatanakul (born 1976) received a Dr.-Ing. degree in 2004 in Control
Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. From 2004 to 2006, he
worked as a development engineer in Automation and Drive, SIEMENS AG. He
joined TüV Süd Rail GmbH in 2006 as an expert for safety automation components.
From 2021, he works as a Senior Product Specialist and Technical Certifier
at TüV Süd Japan. He is a member of IEC TC65/WG12 "Profiles for functional
safety communication in industrial networks" and of its German mirror committee
DKE 914.1.
