Automation of a PEM-Fuell-Cell-System

Abstract

In the paper the author describes the optimization and redesign of the cooling circuit con trol system for a PEMFC-System with Staxon Stacks for the realization of a modular power supply-system. The modelling of the components of the cooling-system and the fuel-cell is introduced and on this base an enhanced control -concept is developed and verifi ed then by means of simulation tests. Finally an outlook is given for a minimal-system developed currently, which is applied in a racing car designed by pupils and students as well as in battery-fuel-cells-hybrid-system for research and education.
