Abstract

Production systems are becoming increasingly complex, and this frequently impacts on the operability. However, the transfer of new interaction techniques from information and communications technology makes it possible to reduce the operating complexity. Using various demonstrators, this article describes platforms and interaction metaphors of future mobile interaction methods for the domain of production automation.
