Abstract

In addition to the optimization of the timing of process flows, future solutions of container handling should also consider aspects of resource use, as well as increasing the load flexibility. Strategies of energy-oriented process management need to be developed which allow a targeted influence of systems involved in the process. The conditions and possible interfaces are discussed taking the example of container handling. In contrast to traditional load management solutions, it will be possible to design solutions more flexibly by including past and future conditions.
