Abstract

The complexity of control software increases along with the functionality of modern machines and plants. The stability depends particularly on the system behaviour in error situations. Using simulations, such error situations can be tested without danger to humans or machines. In order to stimulate the control software, the simulation parameters must be set according to the test objective. This article presents an approach for automatic generation of simulation parameters for error tests and its applicability is shown for a demonstration example.
