Industry 4.0 & cyber security – Technology and requirement analysis based on RAMI 4.0

Digitalization, information transparency and standardization increase the vulnerability of production plants. Here, the procedural model for a Cyber-Security analysis based on the reference architecture model Industry 4.0 (RAMI 4.0) and the VDI/VDE guideline 2182 is shown for the example of the Cloud-based monitoring of production. The approach supports the identification of protection demands and allows a riskbased selection of suitable countermeasures.
