Abstract

Manual dermatological in vivo measurements are subject to large statistical deviations, which has a negative influence on the repeatability. A possible solution to this problem is the integration of collaborative robotics for the automated execution of measurement series. However, due to the wide variety of body surfaces, conventional robot controls can only be used to a limited extent. We propose an image processing model with an optimised regression function for the reconstruction of body surfaces and show how these can be used in the robot-supported execution of in vivo measurements.
