Abstract

This article outlines a prototype robot system for human-robot collaboration. The risk assessment is visualized step by step in accordance with the relevant standards. Key parameters to determine the performance of safety related control functions are calculated and summarized. The procedure to develop a safe control system and the control architecture are shown. Furthermore, the safety requirements are validated and the results are discussed.
