Abstract

Collaborative job processing is growing in importance in modern production plants. But a fragmented, proprietary and highly specialised software environment impedes collaboration. Technologically or semantically incompatible information spaces make it difficult to access the available information of a plant. Inconsistent, incompatible and non interoperable human machine interfaces (HMI) hinder the interaction with the software and other users in the plant. Aspect-oriented HMI adaptation using integrated information- and interaction spaces can overcome these obstacles and increase the productivity of the plant.
