Abstract

This article discusses the automatic creation of a digital plant passport for plant and mechanical engineering, which was developed against the background of increasing sustainability requirements. The automated creation of the passport through systematic data collection and the use of artificial intelligence is conceptualized. The aim of integrating this passport is to increase efficiency in reporting and to meet the increasing sustainability requirements. In addition, the challenges and potentials associated with the implementation are analyzed in order to support the industry in topics such as sustainability.
