Identification of simulation modules

Abstract

The quality of machine processes can be improved by machine simulation, and the development time can be shortened with early testing. But despite the availability of various simulation tools, the cost-benefit ratio is often unsatisfactory. In order to speed up the simulation modelling process, the model creation process has to be improved. A modular approach for simulation modelling is presented and a methodology for the identification and modelling is discussed.
