Abstract

A secure channel to lead data out from a process automation system is a key function of the NAMUR Open Architecture (NOA). Various implementations and applications of the NOA concept are possible. Numerous technical and operational requirements with regard to security must be met in the course of the implementation. This article further develops the basics of the security aspects for NOA published in issue 1-2 2021 and validates them using a demonstrator.
