Abstract

The DIAMOND project aims to develop a cross-domain common information and data model (Common Data Model, CDM) for the entire engineering process with the goal of measurably increasing the efficiency of plant engineering. This process is currently fragmented and based on different software tools and data formats. The aim is to use AutomationML and the Asset Administration
Shell to create a flexible and efficient engineering process with minimum data redundancy and maximum  interoperability.
