Abstract

The first part of this contribution series examines the requirements that digital engineering information models must fulfil to become established in practice. Central aspects are a publication concept, step-by-step maintainability and the linking of different semantic
standards. Building on this, the authors formulate 10 requirements for the successful establishment of standardised information models. The second part presents a practical implementation of these requirements to contribute to the dissemination and further development of such models.
