Abstract

Very large amounts of data are generated during the operation of a process plant. In order for the data to be quickly and efficiently converted into knowledge and actions, elegant preparation procedures are required. An essential step in this process is contextualization. The relationships between the individual items of information need to be considered and networked to form knowledge. A model hierarchy is presented that enables this networking based on a graph database.
The practical implementation is demonstrated using a real test stand.
