Abstract

The authors present the practical implementation
of an integration method of AutomationML (AML) and the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) in the context of the DIAMOND research project. The project focuses on the production plant lifecycle from the integration of components descriptions into the plant engineering phase
and the distribution of engineering data to the operation phase. The combined usage of AAS and AML is described for the transition between component development and
engineering, and between engineering and operation.
