Abstract

Virtual commissioning is an established method, but it has not yet become common practice across the entire  spectrum of mechanical and plant engineering. Together
with fischer Innomation, a concept is being developed for the end-to-end integration of virtual commissioning into existing engineering processes of system suppliers. This new approach is intended to enable small and medium-sized companies from the special machine construction sector in particular to benefit from digitalization. The goal is to automatically generate simulation models from engineering data, promote reuse, and synchronize cross-disciplinary changes.
