Abstract

The provision and processing of data in the plant engineering process is often slowed down by time-consuming preparation processes and inconsistent information flows. The DIAMOND project addresses this challenge by employing a Common Data Model (CDM) that enables cross-domain interoperability. Initial practical tests in the project confirm the potential for shorter planning
times and a reduced risk of errors. The CDM thus contributes to the development of more efficient and flexible solutions in plant engineering.
