Abstract

Previous contributions introduced the fundamental concepts of the DIAMOND project [1]-[3], conducted a comprehensive process and waste analysis [4],  demonstrated synergies through AutomationML (AML) and the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) [5], and elaborated the requirements and design of the Common Data Model (CDM) in detail [6]. This article describes the development of a scalable integration architecture to enable integration into existing toolchains, supporting the persistence, versioning, and synchronization of crossdomain data both via file-based exchange and through a REST API.
